ADVOCARE
Advocare was founded in 1993 by Charles E. Ragus with the dream of changing people's lives for the better by improving their health and wellness through a variety of nutrition products. Supposedly the name came about by Charles wanting to be an "advocate" who "cared" for his distributors! The president and CEO of Advocare is Bob Ulrich who has more than 25 years of experience in the direct sales industry.
Advocare has around 70 products or so, that range from weight loss, energy drinks, snack and food bars, herbals, advanced sports nutrition, and skin care. The company claims that it's their goal to design world-class, cutting-edge, safe, and effective products. They have a strong emphasis on proper testing of the products and further research to develop new and better ones. Advocare sells their products through a network of independent distributors using MLM. The company has a fast start program for new distributors that they can use to learn what they need to know in order to get their business off the ground in the shortest time possible. They also promote a "DebtBuster" system that helps its members move toward debt freedom with easy steps. There are also many other training opportunities for distributors to learn more about the products and how to develop a solid business down the road.
However, there have been complaints that some of the products are not as effective as they claim and that they are also expensive. As with anything in life, you'll find people who absolutely love the products and then you'll find those that think they just don't work. For that, you'll have to decide for yourself. However, as a business opportunity, I have also heard negative concerning their business practices and how they promote the products to customers. The company also may have certain rules and regulations on how distributors can promote and sell using the internet, and in today's society that can definitely be a hindrance! I would check into this very closely if taking a good look at this business opportunity.
Advocare may not be offering anything new in their product line that other companies do not offer, and many customers will be scared off by their pricing. However, there are distributors who make good money with Advocare and I believe that anything is possible. But this company does use a traditional network marketing method with meetings, prospecting, phone calls, and further almost mandatory advanced training, and if you decide to give this business a try you WILL experience lots of disappointment, frustration, and rejection along the way. This is almost a guarantee with traditional network marketing, and most people are unprepared for the rigors involved and eventually drop out. There really IS a much better way…
I've researched many different MLM business opportunities, but by far the best one I recommend is the link below. Click to find out why…
