Integris was founded in 1983 as a charitable organization to help support the Integris Baptist Medical Center Inc., based in Oklahoma City, and out of that came the MLM arm of the company launched in 1997. They have products ranging from categories such as optimal health, weight management, and anti-aging. The two co-founders are Larry Cantrell and William R. Kellas, and the latter is the author of several books including, "Surviving the Toxic Crisis" and "Thriving in a Toxic World."

Probably their most popular product is Life Solubles, which is made entirely from rice and contains more than 70 anti-oxidants. They claim that it begins to work immediately and naturally for optimal health, allowing for better, faster absorption and protecting your body the way nature intended. Another product, Kona Gold, consists of plankton and algae collected from the waters around Hawaii and processed for their minerals and nutrients. Integris claims that because of the volcanic activity that created the Hawaiian Islands, deep seawaters approximately 2,000 feet below the surface have been in a constant state of nutrient enrichment throughout the centuries, creating glacial milk which is free from herbicides, pesticides, and heavy metal contamination.

The company does seem to have some very interesting and effective products which make for some good sales and for downline personal use. They don't seem to be your run of the mill variety product that every other company out there seems to be promoting. Uniqueness is always good in the direct sales industry. Integris seems to do their due diligence as far as research and development of their products, and provides information as to why people need to be taking them on a daily basis. With knowledge like this, it is easier to sell to customers and to provide a basis for new distributors to join. One big selling point is the ability to sign up for very affordable health insurance thru a number of health plans.

The company is not yet very big or well known, and the new distributor will find that most people have not heard of it or the products. This makes for tougher selling, but it can be done. However, Integris also uses a traditional network marketing method with meetings, prospecting, phone calls, and further almost mandatory advanced training, and if you decide to give this business a try you WILL experience lots of disappointment, frustration, and rejection along the way. This is almost a guarantee with traditional network marketing, and most people are unprepared for the rigors involved and eventually drop out. There really IS a much better way…
