PROFIT MASTERS / EMERALD PASSPORT
Profit Masters is an online system designed to create lots of wealth in a short amount of time, very similar to a MLM or network marketing company. Their parent company, or motivation provider, is Emerald Passport. They have an online system that draws the new person in with flash videos and lots of lights and sound. It is pretty informative, and upon first look can be very appealing.
However, when you actually get into the meat of the business you will find that the first "product" that you sell is an archaic set of CD's and DVD's with tons of financial and wealth related material on them. They seem to have gotten hold of a collection of very generic material and bundled it together to form a product. One would think it would sell for a couple of hundred dollars at the most, but they jack the price up pretty high at $1275… Ouch! The secret behind this is that the new person will purchase this collection of material in order to get involved into the business and sell others the same set that they just bought. Now officially you do not HAVE to purchase this to get involved, but you will have to sell a few more of them in order to get any profit. When you pay the money for the learning materials, the person who is selling it to you (your sponsor), keeps the first $1,000 for himself, and sends the rest off to the corporation. So for every sale you make, you keep $1,000, and so on, and so on. However, you have to pass the first two sales upline and you don't make anything from them.
I really think the product is not good enough for anyone to purchase at that price, and the only way someone would buy is because they want to gain access to the business. Later, once the "distributor" is established in the business, there is a 2nd product which is available to sell… This is a $5,500 seminar ticket, believe it or not! They have conventions, or seminars held during the year, and in order to attend the distributor will have to fork over that kind of money for admittance. This works the same way as the original set of CD's and DVD's… It becomes a "product" for sale and to make money off of. Again, this is incredibly overpriced, and not really a viable product.
On the surface it may sound like a great business, but I would stay away from investing any of your money here. There have been complaints that once you get involved there is no help available to you. You will have to fend for your own, and there are lots of disgruntled distributors. There has to be a better way…
I've researched many different MLM business opportunities, but by far the best one I recommend is the link below. Click to find out why…
