QUIXTAR / AMWAY

Quixtar is probably the premier traditional network marketing company out there, and they are based out of Ada, Michigan. Quixtar is a privately owned corporation with the DeVos and Van Andel families in control. The company came about in 1999 with a transition to an online MLM website that was introduced as a shopping portal with thousands of products offered and links to hundreds of other name brand websites where distributors could get commissions from sales of these products. The website was officially in the top ten websites in size when it first opened up. Since Quixtar's inception, the business has done very well and grew in size to several billion dollars in sales a year.

Quixtar grew out of the old Amway Corporation, founded by Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel many years ago. Most people have probably heard of Amway, or knew someone who was a distributor. This was a traditional catalog business, and there were lots of challenges to building a profitable Amway business. Stocking products for resale and downline distributor use, and overcoming the perceived "negative" connotations of the Amway name, were some of the biggest challenges that distributors had to overcome to develop a very profitable business. With the inception of Quixtar however, the business became more automated and customers and downline could simply order for themselves and have the products delivered to their door, and no product stocking was required by the upline. There was no negative associated with the Quixtar name, and people are easily attracted by the excitement of the business and profit making potential. Amway as a corporation does not exist anymore, except maybe overseas in some countries where the laws are different. In North America, there is no Amway business, just Quixtar.

You can make great money with Quixtar, but it is not an easy road by any means. Quixtar and some of its top distributors seem to be constantly embroiled in lawsuits concerning "tape and seminar" money, in which there is tremendous profit involved. The "tapes and seminars" are in my opinion a very necessary part of building a traditional network marketing business, but unfortunately the lawsuits can detract new distributors from getting started. That makes it harder to get a successful Quixtar business going, but it can be done. If you really have your heart set on building a traditional network marketing business, then I recommend Quixtar as one of the best ones to get involved with. They have a solid foundation with good moral principles, and always pay their commission checks on time. A great company to be associated with.

However, Quixtar also uses a traditional network marketing method with meetings, prospecting, phone calls, and further almost mandatory advanced training, and if you decide to give this business a try you WILL experience lots of disappointment, frustration, and rejection along the way. This is almost a guarantee with traditional network marketing, and most people are unprepared for the rigors involved and eventually drop out. There really IS a much better way…

I've researched many different MLM business opportunities, but by far the best one I recommend is the link below. Click to find out why…
